
Scarlett Teefey Family Life
Scarlett Teefey is the younger half-sister of Selena Gomez. She unfortunately died due to a miscarriage. Scarlett was pregnant and almost expecting her baby when she had a miscarriage that resulted in her death on December 19th, 2011. This resulted in Selen Gomez canceling two Christmas shows in Chicago and Seattle to be with her family.
Mandy Teefey posted an emotional post on her Instagram talking about her daughter Scarlett. One picture was her holding her while she was a baby and the other photo was with Selena Gomez holding her stomach. It was in memory of Scarlett and they wrote letters on red balloons in dedication to her and released them. Her online fans made posts about it to give emotional support to the family. Her Instagram post read ‘Family is what matters, blood or not, family 133 made me smile and feel loved when so needed and they didn’t know. Then I came home to Brian and Gracie to send our love to Scarlett. Fans I want you to know you are family because I have a huge family and you are the only ones who remember! XO forever.
Scarlett Teefey died on December 19, 2011, at the age of 35. She is the daughter of Mandy Teefey and Brian Teefey.

Mandy Teefey is a mother of three. Selena Gomez, Scarlett Teefey, and Gracie Teefey. Brian Teefey the dad to Scarlett and Gracie. Teefey also says she has another daughter she gained, Francia Raisa, who donated a kidney when Selena Gomez needed a kidney transplant.
Teefey was a teen parent while raising Selena Gomez. She gave birth to her when she was 16, on July 22, 1992. Coming from a rough background she was judged a lot motivating her to work harder. Selena Gomez’s father Ricardo and Teefey had a wedding but unfortunately separated when she was five tears.
She then re-married in 2006 to Brian Teefey and had two children. Brian and Teefey were also Selena’s managers. Selena credits her mum to being her source of inspiration as they have both grown together.

Teefey is the founder and CEO of Wonder Mind, which is the world’s first mental fitness ecosystem. Wonder Mind, has a podcast called Baggage Drop that gives several mental fitness exercises.
Teefey and Selena Gomez were the executive producers of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, which was released in 2017. On the 17th of Scarlett’s Memorial, they celebrated the end of season 2 of the show. The series discusses suicide and other social issues affecting modern youths. Selena moved out of her parent’s house in 2013 to start her own life in a new house although she still spends time with her family especially when she’s taking social media breaks from posting to scrolling.
Teefey and Brian have been Selena’s managers and biggest fans until 2014. When she entered the entertainment industry, her mother guided and helped her making her feel she was capable of succeeding in the entertainment industry.
