Joshua Sasse is a British actor. He is known for playing Sir Gary Galavant in ABC’s Galavant (2015-2016). Sasse was born on December 9, 1987, in Westminster, London. He is the son of Dominic Sasse, who is also a poet, and Mary Rosalind Macauley He has an older sister, Lydia Sasse. He was raised Roman Catholic, and his ancestry includes Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Indian, and Jewish heritage. Sasse studied performing arts at Hart Wood House College, and later at Cygnet Training Theatre in Exeter.
His first major role was in the British gangster film, The Big I Am in 2010. In mid-2010, Joshua took over the role of Sky in the West End production of Mamma Mia at the Prie of Wae Theater in London.
