Meet John Stanley Gacy, Serial killer John Wayne Gacy’s Father.

John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer who came into the public eye for murdering young boys and men after abusing them sexually. Wayne Gacy was also recognized as a Killer clown, due to his performances as a clown before killing his victims.

Wayne would lure victims to his house, and dupe them into donning handcuffs at the pretense of performing a magic trick, after which he would rape them and torture them before killing them. Gacy was previously convicted in 1968 of sodomy of a teenage boy. While he confessed to the crime, he only served eighteen months, and went on to murder over 33 bodies after subjecting them to torture.

Who was John Wayne Gacy’s Father?

John Stanely Gacy born on June 20, 1900, in Chicago Illinois, was the father of John Wayne Gacy. Wayne’s father was married to Marion Gacy, but they had a troubled marriage because of Wayne’s father’s alcoholic behavior.

John Stanley Gacy had three children, including two daughters and a son. John was an auto repair machinist and had also served in World War 1. Wayne’s father was an alcoholic who was verbally and physically abusive to his family.

The older Gacy belittled his son most of the time and often referred to him as being as weak as his sisters. Gacy would refer to his son as dumb and stupid, which made him terrified. One of Wayne’s earliest memories of his father was when he was four years old. His father beat him for disarranging car engine components.John-Stanley-Gacy

While Wayne’s mother tried to shield him from John Stanley Gacy, it led to more insults from his father. In 1949, John Stanley Gacy beat his son after he was caught with another boy trying to fondle a young girl sexually.

It was during this time that Wayne began experiencing sexual molestation from a close family friend. Afraid that his father would blame him, Wayne was too afraid to let his father know of the events.
