Griffin Arthur Fraser is the first-born son of Brendan Fraser and Afton Smith. His father, Brendan Fraser, is a Canadian American actor well known for his role in the film ‘The Whale’. The mother is a former actress and is currently a writer. Griffin is autistic and obese; he was diagnosed with autism after having a verbal delay as a child. He is six foot five, has big hands and feet, and a big body. During an interview, his father Fraser said he can’t insult you, you can’t insult him. He is the happiest person in my life and many others. In 2018, Fraser revealed that his son Griffin is on the autism spectrum.

Fraser is an American Canadian actor.in 1992 he was featured in a comedy Encino Man and a drama film School Ties and this was his breakthrough in the entertainment industry. He has played roles in different films like ‘No Sudden Move’, ‘The Whale’, ‘Journey to the End of the Night’, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, and ‘The Mummy’ among others.
Fraser had to undergo a drastic physical transformation to play the role of an overweight man confined to a wheelchair trying to reconnect with his daughter after leaving her and the mother for another man in ‘The Whale’. He had to weigh 600 pounds, wear prosthetics, and fit a 300-pound suit every day for four hours. The role helped him understand people with obesity better as he has his firstborn son, Griffin, who has a big body.
He won the Oscar award for Best Actor for his role in The Whale and mentioned his three sons in the acceptance speech. Fraser has always been paid well in all films and comedy roles like The Mummy Returns he made $12 million, The Mummy $4 million, Bedazzled $10 million, and $1.5 million on The Scout.

Griffin was born in 2002. his mother Afton Smith is a former actress and his father Brendan Fraser an actor. He had an issue communicating and after consulting, he was diagnosed with autism. It was hard for his parents since they did not know what to do even after consulting several medical centers.
His parents met in 1993 when Fraser was still starting his acting career, and married on 27 September 1998. They have three children: Griffin Arthur, born in 2002, Holden Fletcher, born in 2004, and Leland Francis, born in 2006. Unfortunately, in 2007, they separated after nine years of marriage and decided to co-parent and keep showing up for their children.
Fraser has kept his family life away from the spotlight but the children are always seen supporting him during events. After winning an Oscar nomination for Best Actor, the kids surprised him with balloons and a cake. In 2022 Holden and Leland joined him during the movie ‘The Whale’ screening.
